Bellatrix as a dry yearling
Bellatrix is out of Camelot Cattle Co Lily 2*M V86 (first freshener score) and +*B Tamris Farm Sap's Onyx. She has a good solid build and ears for days just like her dam. With Lily and Onyx's genetics, I don't see this girl doing anything except great things in our herd.
Bellatrix was bred to *B Wingwood Farm FA Abraxan and had a lovely set of triplets on March 20, 2022. She freshened in with a very capacious, productive udder with beautiful teat placement and MSL, nice long, well attached foreudder and lovely dairy quality. On her first milk test she milked 11.7 lbs and was up to 12.2 lbs on her second test! We are quite pleased with her.
Bellatrix appraised excellent in dairy strength and body, very good in general appearance, mammary, rear legs, feet and rump with a final score of V88 (VEEV).
Bellatrix went to work in a new herd after earning her milk star in all three categories in 2022.
