Amara's Pictures and References

2019: Amara, born March 5, 2019, is out of Flirty and sired by Onyx, making her a full sister to our wonderful Elite multiple time Breed Leader Top Ten doe SG Camelot Cattle Co Mischief 2*M Ex90. Amara has a lovely topline and rump, breed character, width and length. We are very excited to have her in our herd! 

2021: Amara was bred to GCH +*B Sweet-Spring Calvin Klein Ex91 and had triplets on March 2 - unfortunately all bucks! Lovely kids though and she really looks nice. She freshened very similar to her full sister Mischief - lovely attachments on a beautiful, productive, quality mammary - so we are very excited to watch this doe mature! 

2022: Amara was bred to *B Wingwood Farm FA Abraxan and had exquisite twin bucklings on March 11, 2022. We are definitely repeating this breeding. Amara has really matured nicely this freshening with a very capacious, beautiful and productive udder. First milk test of the year showed her milking over 12 lbs and she was up to 13.5 lbs by her second test of the year.  

Amara was appraised for the first time this year and appraised excellent in all four major categories - general appearance, dairy strength, body and mammary - as well as shoulder assembly and rear legs, very good head, feet, back and rump with a final score of Ex91 (EEEE). Amara earned her place among the Top Ten Breed Leaders coming in at #9 for milk and #6 in protein.

2023: Amara was bred to *B Wingwood Farm FA Abraxan and kidded on March 10, 2023 with beautiful quads - all bucklings. She is looking amazing and already milking over 14 lbs a day on her first 2023 milk test. 

2024: Amara was bred to *B Wingwood Farm FA Abraxan and kidded on March 6, 2024 with triplet bucks. She looks as gorgeous as always and on her first 2024 test milked 15 lbs. 

Her 2024 Appraisal shows her with Excellent shoulder assembly, front legs, feet, back, rump, general appearance, dairy strength, body capacity and mammary with a final score of Ex92 (EEEE). She is Very Good in head and rear legs and scored a 3 in rear udder side view.

2026: Amara was bred to *B Wingwood Farm Star Aengus and kidded in March 2026 with twins - finally giving us a beautiful doeling to retain. She started off 2026 (at 7 years old) milking 18 lbs a day right off the bat. She was appraised in her everyday clothes, no clip or hoof trim (because I had actually planned to skip scoring her this time), but she caught the appraiser's eye so I pulled her out of pasture for appraisal. Amara already had a permanent score of Ex92 (EEEE) from our last appraisal in 2024 but I agreed with the appraiser when they said it would be worth appraising her again just to show how impressive her longevity is. So, Amara was appraised in all her hairy glory while needing a hoof trim. Amara scored Ex92 (EEEE) again as a 7-year-old unprepped for appraisal. Her rear udder arch is a 41 and her fore udder attachment is 39 which still beats many does several years younger than her. She scored excellent in shoulder assembly, front legs, rear legs, general appearance, dairy strength, body capacity, and mammary. This doe is the epitome of what a dairy goat should be.
