*By sending a deposit or payment, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the following terms.

Sales & Reservation Policy

Reservations are for Bucklings Only: We only accept pre-birth deposits for bucklings.
Deposit: A $100 deposit is required per kid to secure a reservation.
Selection: Reservations are filled in the order deposits are received. We recommend listing a 1st and 2nd choice; 1st-choice reservations take preference.
Replacements/Refunds: If your reserved buckling is not born, is not of satisfactory quality, or is retained by Camelot Cattle Company, you may:

Buyer Cancellations: No refunds will be issued if a reservation is cancelled by the buyer.

Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid within two weeks of notification of the kid’s birth.
Forfeiture: If an animal is not paid for by two weeks of age, the reservation is cancelled, and all monies paid are forfeited.
Pricing: Listed prices apply to pre-ordered bucklings only picked up by two weeks of age.
Payment Methods: Cash is preferred. Checks/Money Orders should be made to Michelle DeLong and must be cleared before the animal leaves the farm.

Timeline: Kids should be picked up within two weeks of birth notification.
Boarding Fees: If the kid remains on-farm after two weeks, the following fees apply:

Quality Check: We do not release any kid for purchase until we have determined it is of satisfactory quality. For kids out of first-fresheners, this includes evaluating the dam’s udder and milk volume. All kids are sold having been tattooed, disbudded, and in good health.

Accuracy: We do our best to accurately represent our animals through pictures, DHIR/LA (Dairy Herd Improvement Registry/Linear Appraisal) data, and detailed descriptions.
Consultation: We want our goats to succeed in your program! Please feel free to contact us about your specific goals; we are always happy to help you select the best fit for your herd.

Purchaser Responsibilities & Bio-Security

Bio-Security: To protect our herd, all sales are final. Once an animal leaves our farm, it may not return for any reason. Please inspect your animal thoroughly before departure.
Visitor Policy: Please wear clean clothes and shoes that have not been worn in other barns. Visitors are not permitted inside the pens; we will bring animals out for your inspection.

We reserve the right to purchase 20 straws of semen at the cost of collection from any buck sold by us, should we request them in the future.

No Deposits: We do not take deposits or "pre-orders" for doelings or mature animals.
Application Process: Availability is limited. If you are interested in a doeling or a mature doe/buck, you must submit an application.
No Guarantees: Submission of an application does not guarantee the purchase of an animal. We keep a small herd and prioritize a good fit and our own retention needs first. You will be contacted only if/when we have an animal that matches your goals.

Note: This policy applies to the lower 48 states only. International sales or shipments outside the continental U.S. must be negotiated separately.
