Oliver Wood is a full brother to our multiple time Elite Breed Leader Top Ten doe SG Camelot Cattle Co Mischief 4*M Ex90 and Camelot Cattle Co Amara 4*M Ex92, and a maternal brother to Breed Leader Top Ten doe Camelot Cattle Co Harley Quinn 4*M Ex91. We are so excited to be able to have him in our herd. We already had breedings planned for him before he was born and we know he will do great things with the proven production and type behind him.
2022: At 2 years of age Oliver appraised excellent in dairy strength, body, front legs, rear legs and back and very good in general appearance, head, shoulder assembly and rump with a final score of V89 (VEE).
2023: Oliver's first fresh daughter in our herd is a stunner with a gorgeous productive mammary. Poppy is milking almost 10 lbs just a couple of weeks fresh as a first freshener! We are extremely happy with her and can't wait to freshen the four Oliver daughters who will be first fresheners next year!
2024: Wow, do we love the udders this buck is putting on his daughters! Gorgeous, high, wide, well attached udders with lovely MSL and teat placement...and they milk!
Oliver's 2024 appraisal shows him excellent in head, front legs, rear legs, back, rump, general appearance, dairy strength and body capacity; Very Good in shoulder assembly and feet with an overall score of Ex92 (EEE).
2026: This buck is the epitome of what a buck should be. He improves upon whatever does he is used on and the udders he puts on his daughters are phenomenal - wide and high and well-attached, capacious and productive - absolutely the best buck I've ever had or used and I honestly can't say I would change a thing about him!
